Tip of the Week

It`s nice if you can do a back squat while standing on a stability ball, but, no matter how athletic, this crosses over into tricks. Balance training is important for everybody, and athletes may have more need for it than most, but you don`t need to do all your exercises while balancing on something. Strength is built better while you are ground-based, and balancing does nothing for cardio capacity. Decide how you want to spend your exercise time to improve the various aspects of fitness. Don`t just choose one form of training because it`s fun or different, though fun is important too.
