Take sunglasses and sunscreen when you go to the mountains as well as the beach, and any time you will be outdoors exercising in the snow. Also use as necessary when working out even in your front yard.
Sunglasses are not only for sun....but for the glare the sun creates even on a cloudy day as with snow and in the mountains. Sort of like getting a sunburn on a cloudy day.
Hey, this is serious. Take it from a guy who has a dark complextion and never burned in the sun. So, not thinking I needed sunscreen, I was dead wrong. Even if you don't burn or are dark skinned, use sunscreen, spf 30 minimum. I know, I'm now battling skin cancer.
Use sunglasses that protect you against both UVA and UVB too.
