Stretch Out a CrampRead this tip to make your life smarter, better, faster and wiser. LifeTips is the place to go when you need to know about Stretching and other Exercise topics. Stretch Out a CrampGot a cramp? Loosen up and relax. Try stretching out a muscle cramp. For instance, for the calf cramp, or "charley horse," pull your toes up toward your shin in an opposing stretch. The calf muscle pulls the foot down, so you want to do muscle stretching and stretching exercises in the opposite direction to offset a cramp. Comments2/13/2007 1:56:44 PMjean glick said: Great Tip. The ideal way to do it is to lean against a door with your feet about 2 ft away from the door. 2/15/2007 12:55:09 PM Paul Densmore said: works thanks |
