Tip of the Week

Any kind of skating--ice, inline, or conventional roller--can give you a good cardio workout if you work hard enough. Like other exercises, you should find yourself breathing a little heavier than usual. Easier but longer workouts are also good. You may not get the most out of the sport until you master the skill, but when you do you will find it enjoyable as well as good for you. Wear protective gear.
