April 5, 2002, Newsletter Issue #83: Nutrition Month

Tip of the Week

Eat breakfast every day. It will actually help you control your weight and give you more energy. Like to work out for 30 minutes first thing in the morning? That`s fine. Eat breakfast afterward. For most people, breakfast should be at least 500 calories, including some protein, fat, and carbohydrate. Cereal and a banana? You have time for that. Toast or bagel with jam and juice? Yogurt or cottage cheese and fruit? Peanut butter and banana sandwich? Last night`s leftovers? Whatever you like. Just try to minimize the grease and build in some nutrition. You`ll like it and it`s good for you.
