Tip of the Week

There is a learning curve with exercise. Although you will probably have lost aerobic capacity if you haven`t run for a year, and be weaker if you haven`t worked out with weights in that time, you won`t have to go back to where you were when you were a first-time beginner. This is because you won`t have to learn from scratch. This is often called "muscle memory," but is really neurological learning. So don`t let this keep you from working out again (though you will have to start slowly). It may not work that way if you wait 20 years.
